FAQs

I already have insurance, so why do I need DPC?

Direct Primary Care (DPC) offers personalized and convenient primary care. It provides direct access to your primary care physician for your everyday healthcare needs, offers convenient and extended appointments, ensures unhurried visits, and eliminates unexpected fees and copays, resulting in a more patient-focused and personalized healthcare experience.

Do I need insurance to join your DPC clinic?

No, you do not need insurance to be a member of our DPC clinic. DPC is designed to function independently of insurance. Your membership fee covers the primary care services we provide, reducing the need for traditional insurance for routine care. However, having insurance can assist you in cases where labs or imaging are ordered as well as hospitalizations and specialist referrals.

Do you accept insurance? Do you accept Medicare?

No, we do not accept insurance plans or Medicare at our DPC clinic. Our focus is on providing high-quality, direct, and personalized care without the constraints of insurance billing.

Do you see patients under 18 years old?

No, we currently specialize in adult primary care for patients aged 18 and above. We can discuss options for personalized family healthcare or refer you to a trusted pediatric provider for your children’s healthcare needs.

What if I need to be hospitalized or referred to consultants?

In the event of hospitalization or specialist referrals, we will work closely with you to ensure you receive the appropriate care. While DPC covers primary care services, we can assist in coordinating and managing your care outside of our clinic, including communication with specialists and hospitalists.

How do I schedule an appointment with my DPC physician?

Scheduling an appointment is easy. You can schedule an appointment online or by calling our clinic. With our direct physician access, you can even reach out to your doctor directly for urgent matters.

Are there additional fees for certain services or procedures not covered by the DPC membership?

While most of our services are included in your membership, there may be additional fees for certain specialized procedures, medications, or laboratory tests that are not part of the standard DPC services but are offered at a significantly discounted rate. We will always discuss any additional costs with you before proceeding.

Can I cancel my DPC membership at any time?

Yes, you have the flexibility to cancel your DPC membership at any time. There are no long-term contracts or commitments. Please let us know if you decide to cancel, and we will assist you accordingly.

Is there an enrollment fee?

No, there is no enrollment fee; however, a re-enrollment fee is applicable.
